Araldite AV138M-1 1kg resin is packaged in 1.4kg A+B set, including Araldite HV998-1 400gr hardener. it is resistant to temperatures up to 140 degrees.
It is an ideal choice for bonding composite materials made of carbon fiber and glass fiber, as well as for bonding many materials to these products.
It is a high-strength thixotropic adhesive that is cured at room temperature. it has the ability to fill non-flowing gaps up to 5 mm thick. The corrosion resistance is high

The strength and durability of an glued joint depends on the proper processing of the surfaces to be glued.
At least the joint surfaces should be cleaned with a good degreaser such as acetone, iso-propanol (plastics to remove all oil, grease and dirt residues) or other proprietary degreasing agents.
Low-grade alcohol, gasoline (gasoline) or thinner should never be used.
The strongest and most durable joints are obtained by mechanical etching or chemical etching ("pickling").
Degreased surfaces. After etching, a second degreasing operation should be performed.

Araldite AV138M-1 resin and Araldite HV998-1 hardener are applied by weighing and mixing by weight.
The mixing ratio is: 100:400 +-2 g
